The latest version of The Hunted Mod was released on August 12, 2008. You can download it from the SourceMod forums in the Links section.

Right now I am trying to add the last features and clean up the code overall to run faster and smoother. There are some still performance issues that I would like to resolve. Overall I am very happy with the plugin and it's success.

I am also working on the vip_hunted custom map with Gear Dev, and we are constantly testing that at the F7Lans Hunted server. Our friend 1/4 Life is also still working on his remake of Bordercross which is starting to take shape!

What Is The Hunted Mod?

The Hunted Mod is a server-side plugin written for SourceMod that returns VIP Escort style gameplay as seen in the TFC Map "hunted" back into Team Fortress 2. This game mode was replaced by Payload as an answer to the problem of poorly skilled VIPs or players who did not understand the concept. While I do appreciate these problems as a game designer, and while Payload is very fun, it's no Hunted!

Where Do I Download It?

That's the beauty of a server-side plugin - there is no download! Several community members have created custom maps to be played with The Hunted Mod, and you can find out more about that in the Links section.

That's also easy - all you need to do is read the Hunted Guide, and then find a server near you to play it on!
